Taking Time to Celebrate the People Behind the Work

Manufacturing is demanding.

Every day, our team works against tight schedules and high expectations from customers who count on us to deliver.

That's exactly why we believe it's important to occasionally hit pause.

Before Independence Day, employees gathered for our annual Red, White & Blue Bash and enjoyed celebrating the holiday and recognizing the people who make our success possible.

"We just wanted everybody to relax for a little while," said Dustin Oertle, Manufacturing Manager. "Everybody works hard here, and it's important to show them they're appreciated."

This year's celebration included another meaningful opportunity.

Visitors from Italy and Canada were onsite supporting equipment installation and programming projects, and rather than simply inviting them to lunch, our team wanted them to experience an American Fourth of July celebration firsthand.

"We wanted them to feel like part of the team," Dustin said. "Everybody pitched in to make that happen."

Employees contributed homemade dishes while Zach Allen, one of our CNC Machinists, spent the morning preparing steaks and baked potatoes for the team. Patriotic decorations filled the shop, cornhole games sparked friendly competition, and for a few hours, production schedules gave way to laughter and conversation.

Moments like these matter.

Strong manufacturing teams aren't built solely through technical expertise. They're built through trust and shared experiences.

When people feel valued, they collaborate better and solve problems together, delivering better results for our customers.
